An important book for our times

As we move through times that are fraught with many terrible things happening in the world, it behooves us all to learn how to manage our energy and live up to our fullest potential. Managing our fear and cynicism is important. Dr. Gallenberger, through his unusual adventures through the world of psychokinesis in the rough and tumble atmosphere of Las Vegas (of all places), shows us how we can learn to assess our energy states, and consciously raise them to create positive things in our lives and in the world. Having attended several of Dr. Gallenberger's "Inner Vegas Adventures", I can personally attest to some incredible experiences of high energy to the point of knowing what the next dice roll will be and being in a prolonged (over an hour)state of total bliss and knowing, all while rolling dice at a craps table and betting (a perfect whole brain state). He uses the power of binaural beat technology (Hemi-Sync from The Monroe Insitute) to reach these powerful states. He then teaches us how to take these experiences into the real world of our lives and transform ourselves in positive ways. His is truly a unique approach to conscious living that will give you a solid foundation to consciously create the reality you desire.

As a "How-To" book, it's a pretty good memoir

I got about half a dozen chapters into this, and kept waiting, and waiting, for the memoir to end, and for the author to get into how to actually apply what he's talking about. I lightly skimmed the rest, hoping for more nuts and bolts and less narrative. Turns out, most of the "how-to" is neatly summed up as a series of bullet points in the final chapter. So picking up the paperback version of this was less of a "my-bad" than sevening out to the tune of five hundred bucks, but not by much. This really could have been released as a $2 ebook for as substantive as the practical stuff turned out to be.
There's a lot of sales pitch in here about the author's website, which has a LOT of expensive stuff for sale. That's fair: fish gotta swim, and authors gotta make their money. Fine. I get that. But if this guy's as good at the dice tables as he claims to be, he doesn't NEED to be charging as much as he does for a home study course, after having already gotten your money up front for the book that refers you to said courses. That just looks bad.
If he's serious about bettering the world--and I honestly don't doubt his sincerity on that--then he's certainly picking a somewhat sketchy way to go about it. Maybe this author didn't quite think through the perception this book might create for some readers: that such an awfully expensive "Look what I did!" sales pitch, for even more expensive stuff on the back end, looks a lot more like the behavior of a huckster, than the behavior of a healer.
If you want to read this as a personal narrative of what the unseen can do in a place like Vegas, you probably won't be disappointed. But if you're actually looking for a substantive "how-to" book, caveat emptor.

Paradigm-changing book on manifestation

This easily-readable book is destined to be a major factor in the paradigm shift going on in new thought - it has immense practical applications of leading edge metaphysical truths in unique new ways, for both personal and global benefit and profit.
Basically it is the author's personal trek in learning how to fully realize how to create his own reality, as proven to himself by his amazing manifestations in the casino, in healings, and in every part of his life, and how he extends this knowledge to others through his workshops, home study course and Vegas experiences.
The book does not give a "system" in the sense that you can take what it says and perform some ritual or rote to achieve success in the casino and elsewhere - if that's what you want, look elsewhere. Instead, it's about shifting one's whole sense of being, one's core vibration, to allow for the possibility of, to believe, and to eventually know beyond question, that this power - the ability to heal, bend spoons, affect dice, grow seeds in your hand - all come from the heart, from the inside, from the core metaphysical part of us all.
Only by shifting oneself to this knowing can one achieve consistent success at doing these seemingly miraculous things - which are really no more magical than breathing, once one fully embraces this knowledge and ideas.
It's going to take work for most of us - meditation, releasing old resistances and blocking beliefs, visualization, for example - but in the end, what amazing new lives we will have, manifesting what we desire, at will!
